Scheduling Your Newborn Photography Session

 Newborn portraits are best captured in the first 4-14 days, while your baby is sleeping soundly and curling up into those adorable womblike poses. For babies that are born early and spend time in the hospital,  recommend scheduling of a session is  within the first week of being sent home. Advanced booking is highly recommended to ensure availability. Your due date will be placed on our calendar, and look forward to hearing from you once your baby is born to schedule the session. I  only book a limited number of newborns each month to allow flexibility in the calendar for last-minute appointments. If you’ve already had your little one, will do my very best to accommodate. 

What to expect 

Newborn sessions generally last two hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings, cuddles  and diaper changes to keep your baby content. The studio is kept warm and sanitized throughout the session, all blankets and outfits  are washed with  hypoallergenic detergents. Variety of newborn poses are captured on the beanbag as well as use of props. Blankets, outfits and props are all provided. Once the session is booked and baby arrives we discuss color scheme, ideas and all necessary details of the session. 

Artistic Editing 

All images of chosen package are fully edited and delivered in a digital format. Within a week from the session you will be provided with a gallery of proofs from where you make your final selection and than I will spend extensive amount of time of post-processing  that might take up to 4 weeks.
